TELL ME WHEN TO GO

this is absolutely a work in progress:
from the series:

Tell Me When To Go, Spring 2008.
(A Subjective World vs. A Material Culture)

Throughout the process of aging, a great deal of change occurs;  and in the process of a child trying to "find themselves" they are more willing to try new things, and follow any crowd; which makes it very easy to get wrapped up in the culture and media surrounding them.  Children move around to different groups of friends, and experiment to try and keep up with every current fad or trend; They put on new facades, in an attempt to find themselves and to begin to form a sense of identity.

These photos, which are set up in many different ways: for the location, position and composition of figures focuses mostly on kids (for now), and is based around the idea of  incorporating masks to tell a story of youth growing up in suburban towns in a consumer driven culture.
